Grant Eastey: Trust the Process

Grant Eastey:

Trust the Process

Episode 167: #DroppingBombs with The Real Brad Lea (TRBL)

Episode 163: Forbes Riley

It takes 12 years to be an overnight success.

How often have you set a long-term goal, only to go back to your old habits after just a few weeks? Grant Eastey shares advice on how you can stay focused and motivated through the next level.

Grant Eastey has been acting for seven years…

It’s really about once you reach a certain level, then people will start reaching out to you more. And so for me… I acted for about seven years up in Seattle, and that’s honestly like alligator hunting where there aren’t any alligators.

After moving down to LA, his luck has changed. Eastey’s been offered one thing after another.

And, just recently got his big break in Brothers by Choice, coming out this October.

It’s about Bishop Donnie Williams, he has one hell of a story. He’s been in law enforcement for over 30 plus years. He was the first black guy in the world to ever win the world karate championship. And then he ended up winning it back to back. And he was in his thirties when he won that. And so he’s a very iconic figure indeed for the black community.

The film Brothers by Choice is a faith-based film about a karate dojo that Bishop Donnie Williams started with Steve Muhammad, another iconic figure in the karate community.

Grant is also a personal trainer through the Trainiac Personal Training App.

For about 50 bucks a month, you get to train with personal trainers. I’ll start with the meal prep because people spin their tires in gyms all the time. They get burnt out all the time and they get nowhere. They’re like, oh, I earned this big burger and fries that I’m going to have tonight.

It’s like, no, you didn’t! Like, sorry, you’re super tired and you’re sweating your ass off and you feel like shit because you put in 45 minutes on this treadmill. But you didn’t earn that.

To make sure his clients have what it takes to get to the next level, Grant begins by offering meal prep for free. Once a client has successfully prepared his or her meals for a month, he’ll move on to actual training.

Follow him @GEastey on Instagram to learn about his special sauce…

I got hit up by probably a couple of hundred people that were asking me, what’s the secret sauce or what’s the sauce that you’re using? Before I even started saying secret sauce, they just saw a picture of my meal prep with mustard on it. I’m like, it’s f*cking yellow! What other sauces are yellow? So, I started to screenshot it and send it to my buddies. I have a group thread on some of my best friends. I’m like, this is what I deal with there….

And, if you’re ready to take the next step with a fresh start, add Grant Eastey as your trainer in the Trainiac Personal Training App. Download the app and mention the Bomb Squad for a two-week free trial today!
