[0:00:45] About InPower Tribe
Nani’s mission is to empower individuals to achieve their goals. We love to complicate things but it’s simplicity that will get you to the next level. She gets coached by Ed Mylett and Andy Frisella in the Arete Accelerator program. Confidence begins with keeping your commitments to yourself. Purpose and intention come before profit and you have to be consistent with your intention. When you lose your intention, you lose yourself.
[0:6:32] Knowledge is Power
You can play the blame game or you can change your situation. Nani repurposed her mess and turned it into her mission. She decided something had to change, so she signed up for Accelerator. Knowledge is power only if you’re applying it. To get to the next level, you have to go through a process. At InPower, Nani creates a 90-day growth plan with individuals and holds them accountable.
[0:14:16] A Shift in Perspective
Nani’s perspective shifted when she thought of her child. If she continued living recklessly, it would impact her daughter. Hold yourself accountable and act instead of making excuses. When facing adversity, learn what can be learned from the situation and then identify what you can do to move forward. Most people act the way they do and do the things they do because they believe the way they believe. It’s a mindset.
Impactors are people who help others transform. Nani counts Brad as an impactor because he was the first “power player” to show up and provide value to InPower. Ed Mylett has also impacted her life. When looking for a mentor, find someone who’s in the position you want to be in. Nani’s purpose is to be a good leader and a good mother. She believes we can have a different purpose in each season of our life.
[0:27:15] Conscious and Subconscious Mind
At 24, Nani has read Think and Grow rich three times. Through reading, she has learned a lot, especially about the mind. When you change your thoughts, you change your emotions, your actions, and your life. There’s a huge difference between pain and suffering. Pain makes you move. “Do roos” are fake gurus and “Fake it till you make it” is probably the worst phrase ever.
[0:31:22] Belief and Authenticity
Nani was born with brachial plexus injury (Erb’s palsy), but her parents pushed her to do what the doctors said she would never do. When someone holds you accountable, you’re able to stretch yourself. For Nani, criticism is a good thing–it’s an opportunity to improve. You can’t win everyone. Naturally, those who don’t like your message will stop following you. If you conduct yourself with ethics and integrity, there’s no need to worry about pleasing people.
[0:40:15] The Monster Luxury Cruise
Ownership is the number one thing to help you get to the next level of your life. In a few months, she’ll be going on a cruise with Jonathan Hawkins, Coach Burt, Cody Askins, Cody Kearns, Doug Wood, Aaron Edison, Thea Wood and Brad Lea. 175 days ago, she set out on a mission with nothing but faith. She now has a monthly subscription with 100 people.
Nani’s subscribers get access to her Power Talk “Mastermind” calls. Podcast guests have included Dan Fleyshman, Dave Meltzer, Kent Clothier, Drama from Young & Reckless, Ryan Stewman and Ray Higdon. As she grows, her tribe grows with he. She’s a big believer in faith because with faith, you can conquer anything. Hope isn’t a strategy. Opportunities are everywhere but they’re usually disguised as risks, and they’re scary.
[0:48:14] Nani’s Six Cs
There are six C’s that Nani is big on. They are like a roadmap to help you achieve the change you want in your life: Consciousness, Confession, Clarity, Conviction, Commitment, and Consistency.
Getting big players on her podcast didn’t happen overnight. Being in sales taught Nani the principles of persistence and consistency. When you start something, you’ll usually see the results three months, six months or even a year later. Sometimes you have to put up with what you don’t want because that’s how you will get what you want.
