Travis is the author of You, Inc.: The Step by Step Guide for Finding A Business Within You, which held the position of the bestseller in three categories. In addition, he co-founded Kajabi — an online training platform within the LightSpeed VT space.
In this episode, they spend time talking about how everyone has a business inside of them, but you have to overcome the roadblocks of your situation before it gains traction. Here are a few highlights from their chat:
- It doesn’t matter if you’re Tony Robbins or Grant Cardone, you have knowledge to share that can help others. You’re an expert at being you.
- As a founder, change is necessary. You have to be willing to pivot to succeed. Looking back is easy, looking forward is hard.
- Sure, it’s more fun to play when it’s sunny, but you don’t get to choose the conditions put in front of you. You don’t get to choose how you win; you just have to win.
- People are asleep in their jobs right now. They’re zombies, too afraid to take a risk, so they wind up earning just enough to pay their bills and live. You have to be willing to be uncomfortable to be successful.
